How long have you been in business?
3.5 Years
What prompted you to open/relocate to Bixby Knolls?
We first were located in Los Alamitos, we had a lot of customers recommending Bixby Knolls to relocate to. We checked it out ourselves on a First Fridays and fell in love with the community. We then found out how helpful and involved the BKBIA is and that was a huge draw as well. We love Bixby Knolls!
What makes your business different?
I think our business is unique due to the inventory and items we carry. We try to carry unique, one of a kind items that you cannot find at every store. We also love products that give back, have a story, and are created through fair trade. We like to call ourselves “a good time boutique,” because we hope our items bring a smile to our customer’s face and that they always have a good time in our shop! We love supporting local artisan’s as well. Lastly, we are the only store in our area that also provides party rentals.
What role in the community does your business fill?
I think we fill the need for small business, which helps to vitalize the community. We participate and support our neighbors through donations and hosting events creating a destination for locals.
If you could summarize what your business is all about, what would you say?
We are a boutique/gift shop that specializes in home decor, unique gifts, party supplies, and so much more! We also provide party rentals. We have a gift for any occasion! We love to carry items with a story, that give back to a greater good as well.
