Knights of the Turn(Table)
About
This program modeled after our Literary Society book club has become one of our most popular. Each month we choose a different historically significant album (covering all genres), listen to both sides track by track, and discuss it.
The rules are simple. Turn off your cell phones and concentrate. Listen to every song on the album and experience them as the artist and producer intended. Knights of the Round (Turn)Table treat our best-loved records like great symphonies.
UPDATE: KNIGHTS WILL NOW BE OPEN SEATING.
Please RSVP so we can get a headcount for logistic.
ALSO, Beachwood Brewing is now serving their own food! Please plan to order food and drinks from Beachwood, bringing outside food is no longer allowed.
Join us for a (k)night full of music, food, and drinks. This is a music listening event; think book club but for music ft. Boston’s Debut Album. We will be taking over Beachwood Brewing on November 14, music starts at 6:30pm.
Come early to pick your own seats as our Knights event will now be opening seating as Beachwood slowly continues to change up their layout for their new services. Order from their delicious menu and drinks at the counter, then pick up your food from the back once you get the text that your food is ready.
The Format: Before we get started, you can fill out an index card with a memory you have of a song on the album which will be read in between songs by the host. The host will share little known details and background about the album, take questions, and introduce each song. At the end of the night, stick around to fill out another index card with a suggestion for an album in the future.
The Rules: Cell phone ringers must be off and enjoy yourself! Please use your library voices as to not disturb other attendees.

Weekly Playlist
While we could not meet during COVID-19, we asked each BKBIA staff member and friends to recommend some songs based on a theme and we created weekly playlists to share with everyone. We hope they brought you as much joy listening to them as they give us making them.
