Hi, my name is Jessica Escobedo, owner of Feather and Leaf Acupuncture. I started my business focusing on healing others through a natural form of medicine that would allow me to incorporate herbal and natural remedies that were easy to access or make. I have always enjoyed how community focused Bixby Knolls is and how the community really takes initiative to really make a welcoming environment for small businesses to grow.
We provide a number of services. Some being acupuncture, cupping, herbal therapy, nutritional guidance, and wellness coaching. We offer in-person treatments as well as
virtual sessions, online courses, and provide herbal products, supplements, testing, and herbal kits.
The main goal we have is for people to be able to heal naturally using ancient techniques, methods, and remedies but also educating them in how to maintain their health in organic ways.
I feel what makes us different from others is we focus a lot on educating our patients. We feel it is not only important to assist in a pa4ent’s healing process, doing so using natural methods, but also teaching the hows and the whys of the different mechanisms in the body and learn how to maintain their health through different therapies and remedies.
We offer a wide range of services from in-person treatment to virtual consulting. We also specialize in women’s health and autoimmunity.
There have been a number of challenges throughout the years. However, the biggest challenge has been surviving through the pandemic. It was a difficult time to navigate due to the uncertainty of the next steps when a lot of other businesses were closing or not fully prepared. It was definitely a period of testing the evolution of a business and to be creative. I made sure that we kept our eye on the goal, which is the healing and maintain the health of others. So this was a period of really needing to step up to be apart of the support as a whole. In the end, I feel incredibly blessed that we were able to make it through.
We are always here to serve our community whether that be in-person or virtually. Our goal is not only to heal but to expand more knowledge of how individuals can thrive. We offer online courses and products to help to make that easier.
