Bixby Knolls Strollers Celebrates 9th Anniversary This Saturday! That’s 1,825 miles (the distance from Long Beach to Alaska)!  Walk with the Strollers on Saturday, January 14th to celebrate the longest-running walking club in Long Beach’s history.

Why a walking club?  The answer is simple:  To bring people together and literally walk them up, down, and around the business district.  The Strollers explore every nook and cranny of the greater Bixby Knolls area. From Forrest Lawn Cemetery to the Metro Station. From California Heights to Rancho Los Cerritos.

Everyone is welcome!  Business owners, residents, friends and family are encouraged to join the Bixby Knolls Strollers a neighborhood walking club that meets every Saturday morning at 7:15am at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (4105 Atlantic Ave). The walk leaves promptly at 7:30am.  It’s a great way to get fit, check out the businesses, explore the neighborhoods, and meet your neighbors. (Friendly) dogs are welcome, too.  The walks last for about an hour (averaging 3.8 – 3.9 miles). Route changes each week so be sure to sign up for the newsletter to stay updated!
