Long Beach is now apart of several cities forced to close its small businesses for the near future, including restaurants and bars. This comes after the CDC issued guidance to eliminate all gatherings of more than 50 people for the next eight weeks.

This can be devastating for families and people owning and employed in small businesses that are now being forced to close their doors. The good thing is you still have plenty to do to help them.

We’ve compiled a list of shops, restaurants, services, and breweries that are still operating and will continue to update this list as the week goes on.

Buying gift cards, ordering takeout or delivery, and shopping local businesses online are fantastic way to support local businesses in these times. Buying gift cards from local businesses gives them the immediate revenue and allows consumers to cash in on the treat when the threat of the virus has calmed.

Be patient, say “thank you”- this is more than ever, the time that they need our support.

After their test run, it looks like the best method is place your order online just before leaving your house and by the time you get to The Merchant it should all be assembled and ready. You can either walk up give your name and they will give your order or call them and give your name and the description of your car and they’ll bring it to your car.
