Breakwater Tattoo
My name is Justin Tauch, owner of Breakwater Tattoo. I opened Breakwater Tattoo in the fall of 2019. Bixby Knolls, at the time, had less tattoo studios and the neighborhood seemed perfect for what we wanted to create.
We are an appointment only tattoo studio specializing in custom tattoos.
We aim to give people a comfortable and intimate experience when getting tattooed. Our shop is very inviting and inclusive. We like to remove the anxious feeling people might have when getting a tattoo by offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Our artists work directly with clients so there is a lot of personability in our approach.
We are an appointment only studio which means there are no distractions for the artists when working with clients. We design each tattoo specifically for each client so they have a one of a kind piece.
People who come into our shop as a stranger always leave as a friend.
Opening in the fall of 2019 was a dream come true for us. Closing March of 2020 was a nightmare scenario. Keeping our staff safe and following the guidelines in the height of the pandemic was a priority for our safety and our reputation but unfortunately we were left with an empty studio for about 7 months and were still expected to pay to keep the lights on. Thankfully, we were able to weather the storm and have been thriving ever since.
We are located at 4130 Atlantic Ave. Suite 104 in Bixby Knolls. We are open Wed-Sat 12-7pm for appointment only. We provide tattooing only. We have a wide variety of styles that we provide and we look forward to you checking out our beautiful shop!
