My name is Katie Barish, owner of The Better Half Boutique. We started our gift store here in Bixby Knolls 8 years ago, we fell in love with the tight knit community feel that Bixby Knolls has. It feels like a small town in a big city and we wanted to be a part of that. We also loved the idea of First Friday’s and all the other programming Blair and the BKBIA team provides here. We started our retail store because we were passionate about shopping and providing the best gifts possible to our community.
We provide unique gifts, home decor, seasonal decor, jewelry, candles, and so much more. We also provide custom engraving right on the spot to create one of a kind, special gifts.
We hope to provide people with a fun space to find unique and beautiful gifts for any upcoming occasion. Our custom engraving that we provide right on the spot sets us apart from any other gift store around.
We are a Mother/Daughter team that are passionate about providing the best gifts in town!
Overcoming the COVID closures back in 2020 was tough and we also moved our shop location in 2020. But we have overcome every obstacle so far by continuing to promote our business every day and always thinking of new ways to get new faces in our store.
