Libations Bites and Cheese!
My name is Vanessa Harmon, the owner of The Vintage LBC. We opened in September 2022. I am a long time resident of the BK area and have deep ties to the community. My daughter is a student at Longfellow and we love Bixby Knolls.
We offer gourmet cheese, other gourmet grocery items, fresh bread from Nonna Mercato, and wine for sale in our retail area. We also have a dining area where guests can enjoy cheese flights, grilled cheese sandwiches, wine and beer.
We strive to offer the absolute best customer service and want every guest to feel completely at home.
The Vintage LBC is not just a retail cheese shop or just a bistro or just a wine bar. Our retail section is well-stocked with cheeses from all over the world and we encourage tasting before you buy. Our dining area is casual and we encourage people to share plates and linger over their food and wine. Our dine-in cheese flight menu is a curated list of cheeses that changes monthly.
As a first time business owner, there have been a lot of challenges from finances, to staffing, to inventory. I think that dealing with the various license requirements and other red-tape was definitely the most difficult part of opening a business but I’m a quick learner. We just hit the 6 month mark in business and I feel like we’ve really hit our stride.
I’m truly passionate about wine and cheese and hope that The Vintage LBC reflects that.
